[Latest News] Launch of the Strategic Human Resources Alliance for the Implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW

On May 7th, the Forum on "Driving New Impulses for National Development" and the Launch Ceremony of the Strategic Human Resources Alliance for the Implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW took place in Hanoi.

This newly established Alliance aims to contribute to the development of a high-quality workforce of intellectuals and experts, capable of meeting the demands of socio-economic growth, national digital transformation, and global integration. It also seeks to promote training programs focused on public administration, leadership, and state governance that are aligned with the evolving national context. Through these initiatives, the Alliance will enhance capabilities in research, innovation, and the application of artificial intelligence in education, governance, and policy-making.

As part of the event, a panel discussion was held on strategic human resource development and the implementation of Resolution 57. The dialogue outlined clear directions for executing the resolution and building a high-quality workforce in Vietnam. While significant challenges remain, the combined efforts and commitment of businesses, educational institutions, and the government position Vietnam well to develop a strong human resource foundation, ready to lead the nation into the digital era.

At the forum, Mr. Trương Gia Bình, Chairman of FPT Corporation, reiterated the Prime Minister’s directive to decisively implement the strategic directions laid out by the Party, collectively known as the “Strategic Quartet.” These include:

  • Science and technology, innovation, and national digital transformation (Resolution 57-NQ/TW)

  • International integration (Resolution 59-NQ/TW)

  • Legal development and enforcement (Resolution 66-NQ/TW)

  • Private sector development (Resolution 68-NQ/TW)

Mr. Bình stressed:
"We must cultivate new generations equipped with AI knowledge and skills, leveraging the collective strength of our people—just as we did during the resistance wars. From central to local government, from leadership to youth—everyone must embrace innovation and commit to national progress. The younger generation, with their technological acumen and creative thinking, will be the decisive force that helps Vietnam overcome challenges and take its place in the global community."

Warning of the risks of falling behind in the global value chain, Mr. Bình added:
"If we fail to train AI talent, we will be left out of the technological game. But if we lead in AI education, Vietnam can rise to become a global workforce powerhouse in this critical field."
